Some current WIPs
My primary focus for the new year is to finish the mountain of WIPs that have built up toward the end of last year. You can see my post on the Stashalong site for a complete list.
For now, I thought I'd update some of the progress I've made this weekend. Despite having recently purchase the very hard to find Rock Band for the PS3, which is very distracting, I have managed to spend some time knitting this weekend.
My main focus has been the snowboard hat I'm knitting for my co-worker Greg. He's paying me good money for this, so I want to make sure it's done while there's still time in the season to snowboard!
I'm knitting it from the top down on 2 circs so that I can fit it while I knit. I've knit to where I think the increases should end and will take it to work tomorrow to have him try it on.
As for Nyron's Christmas sweater, that is predictably still on the needles:
If you look closely, you can see the tiny bit of the red N that I'm knitting onto the chest. What I'm learning with this project is that it's not impossible to knit a picture onto a sweater that's knit in the round, but it is slower and there's a LOT of weaving in of ends. :)
Until next we knit!
